These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of HumanizeAI.chat, including all content, features, and services offered by HumanizeAI.chat ("we," "us," "our," or "HumanizeAI"). By accessing or using HumanizeAI.chat, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these terms at any time, and material changes will be notified via email. Continued use after notification means you accept the new terms. 1. Acceptance of Terms
By clicking "I Agree," signing up, or using HumanizeAI.chat in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, you may not use the service. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Your use of HumanizeAI.chat indicates your acceptance of all terms, conditions, and policies contained herein. If you are accessing this service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use HumanizeAI.chat. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent. You agree to comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations. You may not use HumanizeAI.chat if you are located in, or a resident or national of, any country subject to U.S. embargo or sanctions, or if you appear on any U.S. government restricted-party list. You further agree that you are not prohibited by applicable law from using the service and that any use complies with your jurisdiction's requirements.
3. Description of Service
HumanizeAI.chat is a web-based platform that provides AI-powered writing tools and services. Our service includes: an AI humanizer to rephrase text in more natural language; AI detection scoring to analyze content; a grammar checker; a plagiarism scanner; and a citation generator backed by an open academic-paper index. The service uses our proprietary AI infrastructure and trusted third-party providers to deliver these features. All tools are provided on an as-is basis. The service is intended for personal, educational, and professional use in accordance with applicable law and your institution's policies.
4. User Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration. You are solely responsible for any unauthorized access to your account and for all consequences resulting from such access. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately at legal@humanizeai.chat. You may not share your account credentials with others. HumanizeAI is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized account use or your failure to maintain account security.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use HumanizeAI.chat only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these terms. You may not: submit content that violates academic integrity policies of your institution; use the service to harass, threaten, defame, or abuse others; upload illegal, stolen, or copyrighted content without authorization; scrape, crawl, or automatically access the service; attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or discover the source code or methodology; or resell or redistribute the service. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with all applicable laws, institutional policies, and third-party rights. Violations may result in account termination and legal action.
6. Subscriptions and Billing
HumanizeAI.chat offers a free tier (3 anonymous uses daily, 150 uses monthly with a free account) and paid subscription tiers: Pro ($19/month), Business ($49/month), and Enterprise ($199/month). All paid subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless canceled. You authorize us to charge the payment method you provide. You may cancel anytime via the Stripe customer portal; cancellation is effective at the end of your current billing cycle. New subscribers receive a 7-day satisfaction guarantee on their first payment. No refunds are issued for partial months after the initial period. Price increases require 30 days' notice and take effect at your next renewal. You are responsible for all applicable taxes.
7. User Content and License
You retain all ownership rights to content you submit to HumanizeAI.chat. By using our service, you grant HumanizeAI a limited, non-exclusive license to process, analyze, and display your text solely to provide the service features to you. We do not use your content to train AI models, build datasets, or for any other purpose without your explicit written consent. You represent and warrant that you own or have the right to use all content you submit. You are responsible for any consequences of submitting content that infringes third-party rights or violates applicable law. Upon request, we will delete your content, though processed data may be retained according to our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
HumanizeAI.chat, including all design, text, graphics, interfaces, code, and features, is the exclusive property of HumanizeAI.chat and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use any part of the service except as expressly permitted by these terms or with our written consent. HumanizeAI, the HumanizeAI logo, and all related marks are trademarks of HumanizeAI.chat Your use of the service does not grant you ownership or rights to any intellectual property. You agree not to challenge or register any HumanizeAI trademarks or names without our written permission.
9. Disclaimers
HumanizeAI.chat is provided on an as-is basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure. We make no warranty that AI-humanized text will pass any specific AI detector, plagiarism checker, or academic integrity tool. AI-generated output may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate content. Results vary depending on input quality and model performance. Your specific outcomes are not guaranteed. We are not liable for any reliance on the service's output. You use HumanizeAI.chat at your own risk and assume all responsibility for your use and the consequences thereof.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HumanizeAI.chat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or lost revenue, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or relating to this service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100). This limitation applies to all claims regardless of cause, including negligence, breach of contract, or tort. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so this section may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HumanizeAI.chat, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or relating to: your use of the service; your violation of these terms; your violation of any law or third-party rights; or your submission of content that infringes or misappropriates any intellectual property, privacy, or other right. This indemnification obligation applies to all claims, whether known or unknown, and survives termination of your account or these terms.
12. Termination
You may cancel your account and cease using HumanizeAI.chat at any time without penalty. Upon cancellation, your access to paid features ends immediately, but you are responsible for charges incurred through the end of your current billing cycle. HumanizeAI.chat may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service at any time, in its sole discretion, for violations of these terms, illegal activity, or other conduct HumanizeAI considers harmful. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. Provisions regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.
13. Modifications to Terms
HumanizeAI.chat reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email at the address associated with your account and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of HumanizeAI.chat following notification of material changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with any modification, you must stop using the service and may cancel your account. Non-material changes may be made at our discretion without notice. We encourage you to review these terms periodically to stay informed of updates.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Both you and HumanizeAI.chat consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the state and federal courts located in Delaware. You agree that all claims shall be brought on an individual basis and not as a class action, class arbitration, or representative action. If either party pursues class claims in violation of this provision, that party waives any right to proceed as a class and agrees to proceed only in individual capacity. This limitation applies to all disputes arising from or relating to your use of the service.
